The blue Tibetan bowl – 2 is a sky blue bronze bowl with dimensions of 9 cm in diameter at its rim and 5 cm in height. Its total weight is approximately 340 grams.
Each set comes with an elegant box to store the cup and a sky blue pillow (rim) to serve as a support to put the cup down (see image).
ABOUT THE TIBETAN CUP
The Tibetan bowls, known as singing bowls (singing bowls), rin gongs, Himalayan bowls or suzu gongs are a kind of bell, which, instead of hanging and inverted, has the surface of its base resting on it. The vibration of your rim produces a base frequency and audible tones.
The Tibetan bowl is played by the percussion of the bowl or by the friction of its rim, emphasizing the tones produced and maintaining a continuous sound.
Tibetan bowls are used worldwide for personal well-being, relaxation, music or meditation. Its origin derives from Buddhist practices, where the beginning and end of silent meditations were marked. Today, varying a little according to Buddhist currents, Tibetan bowls can be used during the chanting of mantras or chants and during rites and ceremonies.
Although in their origin, it is usual to find bronze bowls, nowadays, they are produced in the most diverse materials (bronze, aluminum, crystal…) in order to produce various frequencies and notes.
