Orange Tibetan ting-sha The orange Tibetan ting-sha is made up of small orange cymbals (disks) (connected to the sacral chakra) used in prayers, meditations and rituals by Tibetan Buddhists. These cymbals are made of bronze, with an approximate weight of 210 grams. The diameter of each ting-sha dish is 6.5cm. about Tibetan ting-shas Tibetan cymbals are cymbals or discs that when struck produce a clear, high pitched tone. Tibetan Tingshas are thick discs that produce a unique beat and musical touch. Ancient Tingsha were made from special bronze alloys that produced harmonic overtones. These tools are currently used with Tibetan bowls and other instruments in meditation, music, or sound and music therapy. Traditionally, Tibetan cymbals or Tibetan ting-shas were used as part of specific Tibetan rituals, such as offerings to “hungry ghosts” (evil spirits, evil reincarnations).
