The basis of this work, the book of thoth and the Tarot deck of Etteilla is the legendary Book of Thoth, a magical text that preceded Egyptian civilization, whose pages contained the secret of the creation of the world and the destiny of humanity. This manuscript is believed to have been created in 2170 BC, during a convention of magi held at the Temple of Amun in Memphis.

This book + cards set consists of 78 colored cards (Etteilla's thoth tarot), also called Blades or Arcana. Each of the blades has multiple attributes, which are described in the section entitled Divinatory Meanings of this book.

The figures are divided into three groups, each of which has a generic meaning: the 22 Upper Sheets express the nature of the querent's situation, the 16 Middle Sheets represent the people involved in that situation and the 40 Lower Sheets symbolize an idea, an action or a feeling that is at the origin of the situation. details Comes with 78 colored cards.
