Secret Rites and Mysteries of Wicca The work of Gilberto de Lascariz, Rites and Secret Mysteries of Wicca comprises 447 pages and has a soft cover. This book by the publisher Zéfiro has dimensions of 24cm x 17cm. The Secret Rites and Mysteries of Wicca is an innovation throughout the history of occult literature, as it emphasizes an exclusively esoteric and initiatory approach to Wicca, without facilitation or new age concessions. It is not just a genuine esoteric instrument for transforming the soul in tune with the gods and initiatory paradigms of Wicca, but a book that generates a true pagan gnosis. Here are revealed many of the initiatory secrets present in Wiccan ceremonies that were buried until now in the secrecy of some Initiates and in the oblivion of their own covens. This work is also an attempt to provoke a tour de force in Wiccan literary discourse worldwide, rejecting the new age references and the wild psychologism of the magical heritage inherited from Gerald Gardner. He graduated in Law at the Faculty of Law of Lisbon, while studying Sanskrit Language and Culture at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. In his youth, he was involved in various esoteric societies of a Rosicrucian and Masonic character, having taken vows in the Nyngma-Pa Tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. His involvement with Traditional Wicca in the Alexandrian Tradition, from 1982, associated with his involvement with Anthroposophy, awakened him to the need to develop meditative and ritual methods that allowed an esoteric approach to Initiatic and Neopagan Witchcraft in antithesis to its superficialization. new age. In 1989, he created the TerraSerpente Convent of Wicca Alexandriana in Portugal and launched the Confraria Sol-Negro, an artistic organization dedicated to the aesthetic renewal of the arts from the point of view of neopagan esotericism, in its Evolian sense. His lectures at the Conferences on Inferno, held in the 1980s and 1990s in Porto, alerted him to the need to record his esoteric and neo-pagan thinking in a book. He has published several books and created, in 1999, the Karnayna Project, an organization that aims to provide esoteric instruction in the perspective of Neopaganism. He was the first author to hold Wicca workshops in Portugal, as practiced today by Janet Farrar and Vivianne Crowley. In 2006, the French magazine of Gothic culture, Elegy Ibérica, considered him the most important figure of neopagan esoteric thought in Portugal.
