tarot rider waite – giant

The Rider Waite – Giant tarot is very likely one of the most popular and best known tarots in the world, being one of the most used decks in tarot initiation.

The waite tarot rider cards illustrations were designed in 1909 by Pamela Coleman Smith, under the direction of Arthur Edward Waite. This series of 78 allegorical illustrations were published that same year by William Rider and Son. These synergies gave rise to a tarot that sets the parameters for all subsequent tarot decks.

According to Arthur Edward Waite, this rider waite tarot presents itself as the rectifying tarot , filling the lack of a normative tarot that launches illustrations highlighting the artist's mysticism, imagination, ritual, fantasy and deep emotions. All the blades in this tarot, even the minor arcana ones, present scenes complete with figures and symbols (instead of the mere enumeration of quantity and suit).

This tarot rider waite deck - giant from the renowned AGM card factory is composed of 78 cards and an instruction booklet in English.

The instruction book comes in English and the cards are 16.8 cm long by 9.8 cm wide.
