EYE OF TURKEY MEANING
Its Turkish name for protection against the evil eye and against envy is nazar boncuk (Nazar-fat eye, boncuk-amulet). The eye of Turkey 07cm is often called the eye of Fatima, named after the daughter of the prophet Mohammed, and the Hand of Fatima amulet is added to it to reinforce its effects. Although it can take on various patterns and can be applied to various models, the turkey eye is usually made up of a circle, sphere or drop shape in dark blue with a white and light blue eye superimposed. The eye amulet from Turkey appears in the period of development of glass making in the Mediterranean around the 16th century BC. Legend has it that blond men with blue eyes could be evil and could send bad vibes and cause harm with their gaze.
When Turkey's eye breaks or cracks, it has fulfilled its protective function and will have to be replaced by another.
